Not when it first comes out at least. I'm gonna need to hear feedback from you guys first.

I never really ENJOY a new episode of MLP until I've seen it twice. The first time I'm sitting there shivering hoping the episode's gonna be good.

I think it would be boring if Applejack was just perfect and invincible and did everything right the first time. She's practically that way as it is, with her only ever slipping up after large amounts of sleep deprivation. Seriously, outside of "Applebuck Season" when has she ever been outright wrong?

When the other characters have messed up, do they come off as incompetent? Usually, no, they just made a mistake or two.

She was equally wrong with rarity in look before sleep and with Rainbow Dash in Fall weather friends .But it may not count given that she was the one that made Rarity to change her mind and Rainbow dash was portrayed as being more wrong than her. But you are right she has been even less wrong than pinkie...and almost never wrong by herself.

Thing is, she hasn't done anything outright amazing to balance out the times when she's incompetent. If this keeps up then she could just be remembered as the incompetent loser who hasn't done anything noteworthy. Either she's a hinderance or she's just THERE!

That's what I'm afraid might happen

I already marked Apple Jack as the "level headed" one of the group. To hell with others opinions once I reach my character verdicts, or so it goes in my head.

I think she's done plenty of awesome things, It's just that those things are usually never the final solution because somepony else messes things up. Ever notice than when something is going horribly wrong, Applejack is usually the first pony they go to? Why would they do that if they didn't think she was the one most likely to have the solution?

I'm ok with a character messing up or being wrong (she was wrong in Over A Barrel too btw.), what I don't like is them being incompetent
