I have a question: What is the longest running thread on Tv Tropes Fourms? 90% of the time when I see the check mark by Western Animation I know it's this thread that has been updated, I know it's longer then the Kingdom Hearts thread so it dominats Media...Where dose it stack up in comparison to the other long runners?

There are a few threads in Yack Fest that have over 200, 000 replies, and ITT We Are Our Avatars has 566, 158 replies and isn't stopping soon.

ITT We are our avatars is the most legendary thread period, scoring an astonishing 566158 replies. That's almost twenty five thousand pages.

Troper Updates is far from the first incarnation, though, so it is probably longer.

Greatest post counts seem to be Troper Updates, Fetishes, and the Trash Heap. All from Yack Fest, yes. (

And they're the aforementioned 600K+ post threads.)

And TU would be even longer if it wasn't a restart of a restart after a couple of page-breaking incidents.

Umm, yeah, good point. It's just that I wish people would keep their weird fetishes to themselves. I mean I have a fetish but I don't tell anybody about it (don't worry, it's something pretty common and isn't all that gross unless you've been trained by 4chan to hate it and even then it's a mild fetish)

Individual data points. Obviously the only real way to make sure is to gather data over a long time span, like six months to a year.
