It is up to the people to, ahem, modify the vote of politicians, so as to persuade them to reject it. Otherwise, just get the better part of the US Army to mutiny and carry out Predator strikes and proper military takedown raids against the pro-SOPA guys. Time to make use of your precious Constitution and its amendments against the SOPA guys, and boycott as many SOPA supporting companies as possible.

Otherwise, SOPA will simply convince the people to set up the Darknet earlier than anticipated, and the Free Internet People will rapidly depopulate the SOPA-controlled network.

Oh, and bronies in high places will find interesting new ways to stiff the SOPA supporters on essential services. Imagine it, a brony owner of Power services deliberately marking up the power bills of SOPA supporters :D

I missed the discussion about Ponies playing card games but I have put too much thought into what Yu-Gi-Oh! archetypes they'd use to wait for another opportunity.

Twilight: Cyber Dragons. Why? They are all machine based and Twilight is scientific, as seen in Feeling Pinkie Keen. Also Cyber Dragons are all either Light or Dark. Twilight is the time between night and day.

Rainbow Dash: Crystal Beasts. Why? They are all about rainbows, the seven Crystal Beasts are each a different colour of the rainbow and their trump card is the Rainbow Dragon.

Pinkie Pie: Arcana Force. Why? Arcana Force are based on Tarrot Cards. Pinkie Pie can predict the future. Also every Arcana Force effect is based on flipping coins which like Pinkie are random.

Trixie: Dark Magicians. Why? Dark Magicians have great lock down effects. Secret Village of the Spellcasters prevents Spell Cards, Magician's Valkyria prevents attacks and Dark Sorcerer can negate Trap Cards. Trixie's performances rely primarily on making others look bad by limiting their abilities rather than overcoming them.

CMC: Elemental Heroes. Why? Their are three variants of Elemental Heroes; Warrior, Nature and Neo-Spacians. There are three Cutie Mark Crusaders. Scootaloo would need to use Neo-Spacians as one of their best cards is Rainbow Neos which involves fusing Rainbow Dragon (Rainbow Dash's trump card) and Elemental Hero Neos together. Also expanding on the Hero aspect, there are three variants of Hero; Elemental, Destiny and Evil allowing for further diversification.

Fluttershy: Beasts. Which ones? I'm uncertain, maybe Green and Yellow Baboons, Blade Rabbit. But other cards would be My Body as a Shield, Prideful Roar and Astral Barrier. Cards that protect her monsters at the cost of her losing life points.

AJ: Plants. I don't know which ones.

Rarity: I have no idea.

Odds are if they can't get it to pass legitimately, they'll slap it as a rider on an important vote and tell them "We won't let this one pass unless you also allow this"

I don't like SOPA. Its like taking a shotgun into a hostpital to kill the viruses in the air.

I don't like Hitler.

For Twilight I think an easy fix would be keep the Attack point gain bonus for Spell cards but make it so you have to remove the Spell Card and another two spell cards in your graveyard from play to activate it again. Thus you can have the attack point gain or the effect but not both.

Rainbow Dash should be made into a 4 Star Monster, with a high attack power but a bad effect to go with it. Like Goblin Attack Force. Alternatively make her a weaker monster with the ability to attack directly.

Pinkie Pie: She's fairly weak for a 5-6 star monster. Give her an effect where you roll a die and a different effect activates for each number. e.g. 1: Return all of your monsters on the field to their owner's hand, 2: Return all Monsters on the field to their owner's hands, 3: Predict a type of card (Monster, Spell, Trap) Draw a card, if you guessed correctly add that card to your hand, if not send it to the graveyard.

Fluttershy: I'd give her a swarm ablity, at the moment she's just a wall that you need to trubute for, like once a turn you can special summon a level 1-4 monster from your hand, that monster cannot attack this turn.

Applejack: I don't know, she's hard. Maybe give her an ability that cards cannot be set while she is on the field since that would be obstructing the truth.

Rarity: Make it so the Attack Point loss is permanent and the gain is temporary. Or give her an ability that brings Equip Spell Cards from the deck to your hand.

I'm more of a Magic: The Gathering player, so I can't really speak for YGO cards. Rarity would be broken if she could grab mana artifacts with ease (Moxen are gems too :D), Twilight could use a mechanic that lets her replicate spell effects, and so on.

Fluttershy could be like Elvish Piper, but maybe with a regenerate ability as well.

I don't play much magic either, I have basic comprehension of it, thus why I have no in-depth thoughts about it. And Yu-Gi-Oh does not interest me at all, I was far away from the US before I could get caught up in the craze as a kid.

That's old news. Also, he got help, he's not a fan of the show.

I got a little caught up in the craze. I bought a couple of Starter Decks but had barely anyone to play with. So I never collected them, I pretty much exclusively play the DS Games since it's easier and cheaper than getting the cards in real life.

Long story short, in-depth knowledge of Magic is like a crash course in programming (deckbuilding and Loophole Abuse) and tactical planning (logistics of deckbuilding, knowledge of battle mechanics) and strategy training (Actually battling and figuring out how to overcome an opponent).

I haven't the time or money to invest in it these days, but I was a really hax player during Mirrodin block :D I can picture Twilight really loving MTG. Still got my old seasonal decks in storage (Tooth n' Nail and Spellbomb Control, my two big decks), and have some classic strategies burned into my muscle memory.
