She does have some lingering issues from her days on the farm.

On top of that, it would have been doable to send her to have fun as part of the surprise, and keep her from finding out with a clever Pinkie Promise.

Protip: Stuff like that really won't endear you to the mods when they get a holler because someone got pissed off beyond a certain threshold.

If I remember correctly, all they really want is for you to start the thread. Since it was originally your idea.

Pinkie doesn't do that when it comes to her surprise parties. So they didn't see a reason to do it here. They HONESTLY didn't think that anything was going to go wrong. Especially since, APPARENTLY, Pinkie is supposed to be cool with people keeping secrrets (Green Isn't Your Colour)

someone got pissed off beyond a certain threshold.

Not directly my fault if people start getting mad. I have had my posts thumped without containing so much as a swear or an ad hominem, neither do I insult people even though I am getting insulted back.

I have this problem with people not saying precisely what they think, and I can't into subtlety.

There indeed is one, and it comes down to whether something contains ad hominem or not. Then it stops being relevant and starts being personal; in other words, pointless.

Think about it this way Fran: the rest of us happily discuss stuff, share our opinions, and disagree with each other, all without being as tactless as you, and most of us are happy with that. If someone says something to me politely, I'm more likely to listen to it than if they say something in a pointlessly confrontational manner. They're not lying about their opinions, I'm still recieving the same opinion, they're just communicating it in a more pleasant way.

It makes me think: I want to talk to this person. He seems nice

I am not a troll, because I do not actively want to make people mad, as strange as it is. Probably my discussion club was some sort of an evil corporation in disguise, because that's perhaps where my style of discussion stems through. I cling to inconsistencies.

Let me say. With a few exceptions, I love everyone on this forum. I get angry at them on occasion, but I still feel earnestness in their opinions, and the fact that they can be so civil with me despite all the shit I put them through, proves that they're better people than I can ever hope to be.
