I do identify with shimans. (They are an alien race that has a huge multitude of horrible natural instincts, such as cannibalism, and are very envious of other races, especially humans, because humans are inherently good and shimans are inherently evil and have to actively try being good.)

I mean, I help random grannies cross streets. Who even does that now?

Regular usage of smileys has this connotation of "12 year old girl finding out what internet is" for me, perhaps a residue from modding websites. I use ":3" on a regular basis but it makes people very mad and unhappy.

It's the first time I've done this...I haven't even been a troper for a year.

Odd conversations happened while I slept.

It was weird seeing everyone talk about thefran's general lack of tact. I just assumed he came he from a less friendly part of the internet (like Something Awful, or an imageboard) and he brought the behavior quirks endemic there here. Which I guess is kind of, sort of correct?

By the way are we going to actually have a separate thread for the fanwork stuff, or not?

There should be a "Create Thread" or "Start Thread" hyperlink somewhere on the forum section index. It's kinda shy, so you'll need to lure it out :D

@Mio: All signs point to "eventually", lol. thefran strikes me as having conditioning from being exposed to too much imageboards and debate clubs, a pretty harsh combi.
