Gah, confound this talk of foils. It doesn't interest me, and I can't contribute because I suck at
O Cs.
Oh, look at that, it appears I've become BOLTED TO THE WALL!
Actually, that
would be the logical turn.
Big Mac has to tend the fields all by himself, and we all know how well you can manage the entire Sweet Apple Acres if you're forced to work single-handedly. Meanwhile, AJ and company are scuttling about trying to figure out what happened, and... I dunno, they end up in Canterlot to visit a renowned pony physician?

I'm not good at characterizations. I seem to be better at world-building.
(derp, doublepost? You guys, I am dissapoint.)

Big Mac would be able to handle it. He's the best male pony (after Braeburn).

Mm, I don't know about that, Sky. Fancypants was pretty awesome.
Well, yeah, but even the best pony has their limit.
And
one pony plus
hundreds of apple trees just doesn't add up to—

The
Order of the White Lotus comes to mind.

Ooh, I'm liking this idea. Ponies in positions of power working to bring all 3 races closer together? Maybe Mayor Mare could be a member.

Oh believe me Ginger, I've not forgotten about him. I could never forget about an asshole as brilliant as him.
I like this secret Order thing.
Maybe they're keeping tabs on the Mane Six and reporting their findings to someone higher up?

They have many missions, but one goal: to make Equestria a utopia.
They are... Nope, not coming up with a name.

Which Princess, though? Celestia already gets reports from Twilight (and the others now).
Coudl be Luna wanting to verify just what in the world it was that caused Her to turn back.
Or... Princess Cadence. (twirls mustache)

Earth Ponies have super-tropical
bleach green thumb, for starters. Plus high endurance and great physical strength.
^ True... But I still think another Princess needs to be behidn this.

Actually, that would be pretty scary wouldn't it? If one of the earth ponies big things is strength, can you imagine just waking up one day and feeling weak? that would be horrible.
Whatever, just have Twilight fix it.
Oh, but that wouldn't make an interesting story!
Unless you have Twilight dig through every last book in her library, and force her to draw up every ounce of magical power she has. And still fail at it anyway, because there's something still missing.
And of course they visit Zecora, and of course she has no blinkin' idea what's going on either.
Pity that I'm never able to
finish writing a story (or
anything, for that matter), because I feel like I'm able to come up with so many random ideas here and there.
