Welcome one and all! To 'The Golden Horseshoes, the half-season awards for My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic! I L Mage am your presenter and sole voter tonight, we have a lot of ground to cover so let's get started.

First up is Most Heroic Character which goes to: None other than Fluttershy for her adorable and lovely performance in Dragonshy. Presenting the award tonight is Hay Lin Guardian of Air from the cult classic WITCH and Ned Stark, First Of His Name, Wardens Of The North, yada yada yada, from Doorstopper fantasy series A Songof Ice And Fire.

Second is Funniest Character which goes to: Pinkie Pie' Presenting the award gleefully is Mattrim 'Mat' Caouthuon from The Wheel of Time verse, on leave from his wife may she live forever, and Tyrion "The Imp" Lannister also from A Song of Ice and Fire.

Third is Most Anti-Climatic Villain going to: Nightmare Moon. Presenting with ire and venom is Chaos, God of Chaos, from 8BitTheater and Cedric the Snake guy from WITCH.

Fourth up is the prestigious Best Potential Transsexual award: which goes to none other than Flutterguy! Presentins grudgingly in Shannon "The Panther" Beiste and Arya "I'm a boy!" Stark.

Fifth is Best Background Ho Yay Pairing That the Fangirls Can Pounce On: which goes to Snips and Snails. Presenting bitterly tonight is Sam Evans and Rory Flanagan from Glee and Sherlock Holmes and his boyfriend, life partner, close companion, lover friend Dr Watson, who wants it to be known that he is here with his wife Marry.

Sixth up is Best Seamingly Mundade Event Made Epic which was locked up all along by Applejack and Rarity for their supermegaawesomeepic pillow fight in Look Before You Sleep. Presenting is Xander and Harmony from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, glad to pass on the torch so many years after their Hair Pulling to Ominous Latin Chanting secured them the award so long ago.

Seventh is Character That Is Best Joined To Another Character At The Hip To Avoid Insanity: going to Spike for making Twilight Sparkle so very bearable.

Eight is Damn That’s One Ugly Baby which goes to the Ursa Minor being presented by Palpatine's Clone Fetus from the Star Wars Expanded Universe and Rehago the dragon-winged maggot filled half-rotted premature baby from A Game Of Thrones.

Ninth is best Insane But Awesome Character going once again to Pinkie Pie! Presented tonight by Luna Lovegood and Brittany S. Pierce.

Tenth Most Fabulous character: going to- was there every any doubt- RARITY Presetting tonight, with great pride and esteem is Kurt the Countertenor Hummel and Cilan the glowing sparklyeyed Gym Leader.

Eleventh is Most Adorable Ragtag Bunchof Misfits being pried from the hands of New Directions and placed into the hooves of the Cutie Mark Crusaders!

Twelfth is the Most Benevolent Dictator award going to Princess Clestia to the shock and horror of Richard Rhal and his banging hot wife Khalan. Sorry guys!

Thirteenth is What The Heck Happened To This Plot Line award, being presented to The Grand Galloping Gala by Hilda's Clock Shop and Liz Lemon's Adoption Papers, accepting on behalf of the Gala is Princess "Knows Twilight has six friends but sends two tickets" Celstia.

AND LASTLY! THE MOMENT YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR.... BEST PONY GOES TO....

AGAINST ALL ODDS... BY A MEGGER ONE VOTE....

I also had a whole section devoted to music (Flutterguy won "Best Cover" of Pinkie Pie's Zecora song) but deiced to cut it for time.

I have to say, I enjoying reading a new bronies reactions to the episodes.

Pinkie is funny though, even If she should be used better in the show. I can't wait for the Pinkie babysitting ep, It has a lot of humanising potential for Pinkie.

Applejack used to be my best pony for most of S1.

it's just that she doesn't get much exposure, and the concept is flat too.

For what it's worth, and it might just be that she came of looking so great in comparsion to RD, but episode 13 took great stride in endearing me to AJ.
