She isn't really even the only pony behaving OOC. Take Fluttershy.

- I like animals and know extra mega lots of stuff about them and I am super cute and moe.
- Take all of my animals and subject them to lethal danger.
- I have no idea of how a wet cat looks like.
- I will happily bully my friend until she apologizes.

One of these things is not like the other.

I like the wings-as-weapons idea - sharpened feathers, maybe? Kind of hard to wield a sword in your mouth, is it not? I bet EP's figured out a way to pack iron, though, being tool-users. Unicorns, well, they could use telekinesis to wield a weapon, or simply run their horn through a threat, if it was sharp or had an implement fitted over it.

Yeah, I can see the Wonderbolts being likethe Blue Angels. The Royal Air Forces elite flying unit, and might be a reason why they won't take RD.

Whips, lassos and fails would all make good EP weapons.

there's so little warfare taking place that they do stuntflying in their off time.

I doubt I've seen them do any warfare at all, or at least do it effectively, which would be hard because they have no kind of weapons at all. Neither can they outspeed a falling pony.

Or, a special harness with a lance mounted to it on a special swivel. Flick their tail, it lowers into position and locks into place. They charge. Impale enemy, backup and repeat charge. They flick their tail again and it will swivel up and even be used to fly a standard.

...which is pretty grim, considering the subject matter and target audience.

@ Equestrian Navy: Pegasi for Aircraft Carriers. Earth Ponies would probably be engineers and Unicorns could provide Point Defence.

Oh, that's nasty. Though a lance can be fitted with a boss (ball)at the end, making it into a pushing weapon as opposed to an impaling weapon.

Seems about right.

I think War Hammers might be good for Earth Ponies. We know they can get pretty strong, so a weapon like that could negate an enemy's armour advantage.
