You're a great guy, but it's no fun for anybody watching you freak out over something like this. I understand where you're coming from, but you really need to not take every complaint about Applejack or every comment about how funny Pinkie is as some kind of conspiracy. People have every right to feel the way they feel about the characters. I mean, what would happen if someone who feels about Pinkie the same way you feel about Applejack starts posting here?

As far as Fall Weather Friends is concerned, both ponies were in the wrong at points, but Rainbow Dash is the one who started it. She started cheating solely to win, while AJ only started cheating to even the field. It's wrong in both cases, but I think AJ's actions are bit more understandable.

Anyway, what they should have done was settle the rules beforehand, or at least stopped the competition long enough to settle it when it came up.

Look, I realize that I'm not exactly the pillar of neutrality in this thread. I have my opinions, and I can get repetitive in bringing them up. I get that. But these are opinions we're dealing with. There's nothing inherently wrong (or right) about another person's opinion, and while of course you should feel free to debate differing aspects of fanon with someone else, I'd rather not drop into a conversation that consists solely of two people pretending their opinions are incontrovertible fact. I get that often enough elsewhere, and I expected better from this thread.

It's not even really anger I feel whenever someone mentions that they find Pinkie funny, or they think AJ is boring. (I translate it to anger for the sake of drama) In reality It's just sadness.

My entire life I've held unpopular opinions. No, seriously, I'm in the minority about 60% of the time. Do you have any idea what that's like? How opressive that is? To be trapped in an unwitty mind that can't articulate it's arguments properly, and even if it could, would most likely end up being effortlessly shot down time and time again by a simple vote (because I'm in the minority.)
