Celetsia's a troll, animals are simi-intelligent (think Pokemon), I don't see how RD is a different character(She's a well known brash glory hound, it's part of her charm) What's wrong with the pilot? It's just an intro to the show. Really most cartoons just throws us straight into the middle of what's happening.

1. She was either occupied with something else, or she dispatched the Wonderbolts

2. This is irrelevant to the vast majority of the series, so they don't waste time explaining it

3. She isn't; the two episodes show opposite ends of her personality, but they're both consistent with her general characterization.

4. I don't even know what "horrible writing" you're talking about here.

Anyway, again, kid's show. It's obviously not going to hold up to the same standards of adult entertainment because it's meant to entertain children, not be scrutinized by a bunch of Genre-Savvy tropers.
