I wouldn't assume they'd have to be the same race. Like Foil!magic is a unicorn, but he could easily be an Earth Pony who really wanted to be a unicorn and is in disguise or something. I hadn't thought of their races as being important. Though as I'm thinking more on it reverse!loyalty would still be a pegasi because I'd see him being reverse! magic's 'lovely assistant' in the magic show. For some reason I tend to see pegasi as the 'prettiest' of the races, though he could also be a unicorn, providing special effect for reverse!honesty's stories.. let me see... reverse!honesty could be either a unicorn(to do special effects) or a pegasus(he's been everywhere and seen everything), reverse!generosity I'm seeing as an earth pony. Yes - he'd be very skilled at connecting dots on the fly, making stuff up, but is gifted at it.

He'd operate off of his gut instinct a lot. Intuition, and all that. Still very intelligent. Does a lot of studyiing, just to learn things. Calls upon this knowledge to back up his instincts. slightly ADD, can draw connections between two totally different things without effort.

May have to make short lists to help him stay on focus, though. Could rely on his friends for that.

Indeed. I saw one pic with a bunch of the ponies in Rarity's "wet mane" pose, and every damn one of them was just a recolor of Rarity with the same body type, including Celestia and Luna.
