On that subject I propose a question. In the very hypothetical situation that you do turn into a pony, based on your interest, personality, physique and other things which of the three species do you think you will turn into?

I think if it would happen to me I would probably turn into an Earth Pony. Though I'm very much out of shape I can be fairly strong and my endurance isn't that bad. I have a love for information but I actually kind of like doing physical work, it makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something.

@Applelight: Hmmm, I~deeeeeeea~

I'll give her a golden-brown coat with a two-toned mane of grey (silver) with a light blue coat, to simulate a blue-metal finish. She'll have light blue eyes that match her mane. Her lightbulb Cutie Mark is pale yellow with a thick black outline.

@Mio: I'll end up an Earth Pony with Unicorn stats, turning my passive abilities towards technology/machines and metal and crafting.

@ Japanese Teeth: We did see the common Pegasi. They were eating their own hats and freezing. Plus Hurricane's and Puddinghead's homes didn't seem that fancy.

On ED Cereal sujest that's Disqord spiecies, but it not look similar for me.

@Apple: Power Generator? Huh?

I had an idea for a Gem-based generator which converts Gems inserted into its core into raw power, but it might be too much like the Iron Man thingie.

I think it's just supposed to be a dragon.

If I got turned into a pony, I'd probably be a unicorn. I'm probably even less athletic than Twilight is, and I'm way more intellectually directed.

It just a monster they put on the mural. I doubt it supposed to be anything specific, and I doubt it has any further significance then to lend some flavor to the Pegasus city.

If the pegasi leaders are typically anything like Commander Hurricane, the thought process was probably something along the lines of "You know what would be really badass? If we had a mural of a pegasus fighting a dragon."

Well, the story with mine is that his earth pony magic created an invisible power field around him that powers up all his machines. He can turn them on and off with just a thought...and he was to ever 'grey out', all his machines would power down and shut off.

There is a disadvantage though...he needs to be in close proximity to the device for it to work...as opposed to a Unicorn Mechanomancer, who can cast an enchantment to keep the machines running independently.

And so the Pegasi slayed a dragon specifically so they could have a mural of the event.

Also, I'm probably wrong, but isn't the Earth Pony flag the only one that doesn't have pony on it?

I'm actually kind of surprised how far they went with the Pegasi=Sparta thing, especially in a show like this. I guess they got away with it because it shows up in only one episode and is pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things. It's still kind of weird though.

I'm just surprised that this show that this show took one of the protagonist tribes and made them a straight Proud Warrior Race.

@Applelight: Bright Idea learnt some surprising stuff from a Unicorn textbook about the magical properties of gems. Coupled with some crafting secrets of the Earth Ponies and several accidents and explosions later, she figured out how to used gems as a fuel source for her thaumic generator. Instead of using the awkward tools of the trade, which she realised were meant for bipedal creatures, Bri spent a lot of time making her own tools, which were mostly considered awkward and made fun of. Of course, later her fellow craftspony apprentices would shamelessly copy her idea for the tactical hoofshoes.
