The doors being blown in was a testament to just how powerless the unicorns' magic was against the blizzard.

As the narration said, the Earth Ponies were freezing, the Pegasi were hungry, and the Unicorns were freezing and hungry.

Of course, after the Summit, it was so unbearable that it doesn't really matter who initially had it worse.

Well, what could they do? Endless sun? Doesn't really help when the clouds are thick enough to block out the rest of the sky. Plus, the Earth Ponies were almost certainly withdrawing into self-focused subsistence farming, and weren't exporting anything to the other races.

And here I thought you'd almost be happy to see a situation where the Earth Ponies were actually doing better than the Unicorns.

Not when the situation in question calls for us to feel bad for the 3 races. Then it's the race that's faring the worst which will garner the most sympathy, and why should we feel more sympathy for the unicorns?

I was actually pissed when the first thing I saw in the comments for the latest ep was "EARTH PONIES ARE GREEDY!!" in reaponse to Spike's opening narration

War between several pony nations has been ongoing ever since the encroaching deserts and cold winds have made agriculture increasingly difficult. It's up to a young and promising mare in Military Intelligence to end the war, one way or another. Princess Platinum was hilarious, but she was also a gigantic dick. I can find her gags funny but they're based around the fact she's despicable so her character can't be liked.

My favorite of the leaders was Puddinghead because she wasn't openly malicious like the others, just stupid.

Turning into a pony? Sounds painful to be honest. It's an interesting thought but I'm actually quite comfortable in my bipedal hominid shape, thank you very much.

I'm pretty sure that the whole reason for making the blizzard supernatural was so that it would nullify all the pony tribes' respective magics: The earth ponies couldn't grow food, the pegasi couldn't manipulate the weather, and unicorns magic was useless. The whole reasoning behind it was "none of the ponies special abilities are going to do crap if they keep fighting". And really, I don't think any race had it better or worse than any others; yeah, we see the earth ponies outside in the cold, but that's probably true of the other races as well. It's just that we only see the pegasus and unicorn leaders, who would likely have had better lodgings. The common pegasi and unicorns are in the same state as the common earth ponies.

Ever read Animorphs? Hopefully the transformation would be like in that and the feeling in my body would be deadened as I changed. Or even MORE ideally, there's just a flash and I'm a pony

I wouldn't mind trying it out for a while, especially if I was visiting Equestria for a few days.

I would prefer to have a spare pony body made for me so's I can copy my mind into it. To be a Pony in the real would mean the risk of being chased by little girls and bronies looking for hugs though.

In other news, I have no idea what my OC pony Bright Idea should have for her colour scheme. Should I give her a two-toned mane? Would she look fine with golden-brown mane and a soft blue coat?
