Pony must pony pony.

So, yesterday was the big Finnish brony meetup. I attended with two friends. Here's a short sum-up for those interested:
The event was held in a youth centre in the suburbs, which had been rented for the occasion. About a hundred people attended, and the spaces were just about the right size for the event.
Most attendees seemed to be on the 18-25 age range, but there were several older people (not any kids that I saw, though). I'd say about 10% of the people present were women. I didn't exactly poll around, but it seems that at least half of the bronies had come to Helsinki from another town to visit for the meetup. My Swedish pal seemed to be the only foreigner present, though.
After some quick announcements from the administration in the beginning, everyone spread out to socialise and have a good time. Board games, video games, drawing, custom-painting figurines, pool... someone was even making a PMV on a laptop and had people looking at the process over his shoulder. Several people expressed the hope that a year from now, we can hold a
Fighting Is Magic tournament in a meetup.
Half an hour before the new episode aired, everyone gathered to the widescreen television to watch as the administration started to feverishly set it up to show a stream. We missed the cold open due to internet troubles, but most of the episode was shown fine. The bronies were a really passionate audience: laughing at jokes, aww-ing at Fluttershy and groaning whenever the stream cut off for a second. When the end credits rolled, there was a round of applause.
I left soon after the episode was shown, but after that they held a Pony quiz with prices (the winners got a pony-themed coffee mug and the team that got the least points was given a G3.5 magazine), and later auctioned off custom-painted figurines.
We also took a group photo right before the episode streamed, but I'm not posting that here yet, since I don't have the permission of the people in the photo to post it here. When it appears on Equestria Daily, I can link it here with good conscience.
I really liked it, and will definitely attend to more meetups in the future. I highly recommend these to any Finnbronies who might see this post.
