After, seeing this episode I'm actually hoping for an episode that takes place outside of Equestria. Preferably someplace lacking in ponies. I just think it would be interesting to see what the rest of the world is like.

The question is, is Santa real in this world? He was real (and apparently human) in G1 & G3, though he never actually appeared in person.

I don't know offhand, but speaking of the train: Derpy is in the top there, meaning she appears twice in this episode. I thought her appearance was a bit too obvious... Also I noticed Mayor Mar was in there, as well as at the train depot in canterlot. Not exactyl sure what she's doing there; you'd think she'd want to oversee the pageant in Ponyville, wouldn't you? Maybe she got an invite or something. She did want to speak with Celestia personally... hm...

Mayor Mar is a 'close personal friend' of Celestia's.
