Cadence is actually really good at politics, and pretends to be an airheaded literal Princess of Pop to trick all sorts of good policies past the Executive Meddling of some of her less-savoury nobles, who don't dare do anything to risk upsetting the majority of the country, as the greater part of the populace loves her songs. She also weaves some of her magic into her songs to hold the Nightmares at bay from attacking her people.
