It's probably reflective of the areas we all live in. I'm from the northeast United States, and my high school was fairly heavily white; I think our second most-populous group was Latino/as. In my experience (which is limited, since I never did pay much attention to others in high school), groups divided by racial lines were much more common than mixed groups. My circle of friends had one Haitian girl, for instance.

I don't really think there's a 'right' or 'wrong' answer to the question; each person's life experiences are their own, and we really can't do anything but extrapolate from our experiences, so calling one set 'right' and the other 'wrong' seems silly.

They also have subtitles on them. Something about the mane cast's positive traits being REALLY close to their negative traits.

Yea, those pictures show that traits really are about how one uses them. Excessiveness or misuse can easily cause that trait to betray them. They remind me why I can relate to the girls so much, even though Dashie and Rarity have such distant personalities and attitudes to my own. And that just makes me want to hug them.

Also, vaguely related tangent: number of pages is equal to the current year! *breaks out the party cannon, which launches out a Pinkie Pie*

I was playing Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door again these past couple days and I finally found an exact carbon copy of Rarity outside ponydom in the form of Madame Flurrie. She's a tad, um, larger than you'd expect Rarity to be, but the personality is spot on. A huge drama queen who won't be seen without her necklace on, shows a great obsession with fame, though for her it's being loved on stage as opposed to being a fashion designer, tends to use phrases like "darling, " and underneath it all a self-less individual willing to risk her life to help those in need.

Combined with Buttercup (or a prepubescent female Sonic) for Rainbow Dash and Lacus Clyne◊ for Fluttershy I am now half-way finsihed my collection.
