The Spike one isn't it? The Secret of My Excess?

That's the one.

Awesome. Not particularly looking forward to that one, but hey, we had an awesome one last week.

Yeah, I was really skeptical of last week's episode based on the summary, and it ended up being one of the better episodes, so we'll just have to wait and see how this turns out.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I like Spike and his only episode wasn't bad, but it was extremely forgettable in my eyes.

It's not hard to guess exactly how the plot is going to break down. Spike feels bummed because he's so tiny —> Spike rumages through Twi's books and casts an enlargement spell on himself —> Spike grows larger and everything seems fine —> Spike suddenly develops a huge appetite —> Spike devours everything in sight growing larger all the time until he's large enought to justify a Godzilla parody —> Distraught over the death of Julia and realizing he can no longer run from his past Spike marches into Red Dragon HQ killing everyone in sight as he makes his way to the top floor for his final battle with his best friend turned mortal enemy, Vicious.

We know how this is going to play out, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy the ride anyway.

QUIET CONCERN!

Today I had a discussion with a professor and a few other students about this show after class. My professor didn't quite understand the concept of bronies, but seeing how he loves Phineas and Ferb he seemed okay with it when I said that the show was made so parents could enjoy it too. It was interesting. And I don't think I'd be surprised if he later told me his daughter now watches it.

...I didn't even mean to spread the pony love. Well, a good show is a good show.

I hope next episode itroduce new Dragon or even Dragons.

Given that all the dragons we've seen so far have existed to be antagonistic? It's... possible, but I doubt it.

Although I do have to wonder just how much spike is going to change. Like, if he actually does go through some aging process or if he'll just get really fat.

I'm guessing that he eats a lot, triggering a growth spurt, but part of the natural dragon growth process is to rapidly shed the weight.

Even if it's rapid aging they propably hit reset button anyway.

Thanks to show Esemble Darkpony page I have now my fav toy only pony: Firecracker Burst - pony toy with fire CM, I don't know what they thinking but this awesome.

If you want my opinion on the mane cast's ethnicity (which I don't think matters much, but anyway) I see them all as white simply because their voices sound white to me. Not to mention that if they were black, they'd be zebras (who are clearly awesome). I can see Asian Twilight but maybe there's a different Asian analogue that we haven't seen yet. Of course, I'm also watching it as a South African which means that I have a different perspective on these things than Americans do, so maybe they don't sound black to me because to me, black people sound like South African black people who naturally have a different accent to Americans.

I'm in the "Didn't like Owl's Well That Ends Well" camp. I hope The Secret of My Excess will be better.

I don't even sense any American "black" accent. Clearly Zebras are the black form of ponies. What would the Asian form of pony be though?

I theorize horses. If only for the irony of Cartoon Asians being taller.

Arabian horses are fairly short. They're also know for being fairly smart. War horses, you see. Had To Be Sharp.
