My theory about Canterlot is that rather than the ponies who live there becoming stuffy and whatnot, everypony is like that because Canterlot attracts those types of ponies. Like the ponies are stuffy to begin with, so they just go to Canterlot because that's where all the other stuffy ponies are.

I just spotted Ditzy Doo. Seriously, Paper bag hat and necklace, and these animators are picking good spots to hide her.

And Fleur was seriously all over him at the beginning, I just marked her behavior as quirky or eccentric or she's just a little loopy.

I guess Fancy Pants just a player.... Or Stallions have harems in this world?

I know people like to think that the abundance of females compared to males leans toward a polygamous society, but I really don't like to see it that way. But yes, She is all over him... maybe he just has mares like that about all the time, and he and his wife have just learned to deal with it?

Just because he as an individual has a harem, doesn't necessarily mean that EVERY stallion does.

Maybe he and Big Mac are the exceptions?

Of course you realize this now means that Fancy Pants needs a manservant who knows kung fu.

Perhaps he's a james bon-esque agent of the Equestrian secret service, and he gets all the ladies the job entails. Really though, I do sort of like the idea of him being faithful to one mare, and just having to put up with the throngs of mares throwing themselves at his hooves.

I'm having to play catch-up. Watching TMMDW at the moment. I actually agree with the rest of the mane cast here; Rainbow deserved a slice of humble pie.

I just don't think he FEELS very James Bond-y to me. He's more like the manipulative high-society type who can talk people into doing anything

Why yes, the yellow mare who is present in the "cake frosting" scene calls him "darling".

But that's Upper Crust, and she's already married to Jet Set! Maybe she just calls everypony "darling" (like G3/G3.5 Rainbow Dash)?
