Not at first. She was the one who disliked Applejack the most of the mane Six. It wasn't until Look Before you Sleep that they started getting along.

She was more or less forced into knowing her, then became freinds after getting to know her, but not at first.

Yeah, I was just amused by the fact that they ENTERED THEIR DAUGHTERS FUCKING HOUSE WITHOUT HER PERMISSION!! and they didn't even think to wake her up either (yeah, cuz Sweetie's gesture of abruptly bringing Rarity breakfast in bed was going to go over SWIMINGLY XD)

1: Yes. I imagine an Octoquine squirting ink would have the same implications as a Pegasus flaring their wings, no?

2: I don't know. I can't see any pony being atheist when the local deities are your princesses but I don't see any reason for Peeler to be especially patriotic. If he is going to be patriotic maybe he tried out for the royal guard when he was younger. Russian variant or Other one.

How would Sea Pony manes work? Standard hair would probably just slow them down while moving but from a design point of view a mane would probably look better than a lack of one.

Thoughts on Peeler trying out for the Royal Guards once if he was so patriotic?

On Dash being the mane character...nah. It's always going to be an ensemble show. Dashie does seem to be getting the bulk of the Wolverine Publicity, but I'm mostly okay with that. The main downside to it is how it causes her saddlesore haters to come out in force, and I would like things to be more balanced if for no other reason than that.

Rarity's parents are definitely new money. Remember, Rarity's accent doesn't actually exist naturally, it's something she has to have cultivated. If it's not solely to try and fit in among her probable clientele, it's probably because she feels it's befitting of their new-found stature. Whereas her parents aren't really as concerned with appearances as her.

I think if Peeler tried out for the royal guard the big question is, why didn't he make it? I can see him patriotic, but I don't know... he feels like he'd just want to protect the people, myself. That's what really makes the country great, after all.

And a flutterpus would be... interesting. Maybe it's just that cartoons have taught me to associate ink squirting with wetting oneself, but I think it would just be awkward if she went around squirting everywhere.
