Oh, now I remember a bit of silly headcanon that inspired this video: That G4 Pinkie Pie is G3 Pinkie Pie after she went mad from a revelation about her state of existence, and she's threatening to drive Twilight Sparkle to the same state.

@Joesolo: We also appear to be a bit more stable than the Equestria Daily comment section and Ponychan, for what it's worth. Out of the major fandom hubs we seem to be relatively sane. It's hearsay, though. I don't really frequent most of those places.

I havn't really watched enough to make any head canon. I did get two episode in while locked out of my house for and hour and a half because someone double-parked my mom while she was a parent-teacher confrences. The one day I decided to walk home.

Judging by my semi-accurate internet guessing skills, Ponychan is pretty bad.

And I have a friend who's a /b/tard. It's...somewhat facisnating the amount of things they can pull out of a random episode of anything. Spider-man is unusually popular, and amazingly clean for4chan. The MLP ones are generally just down right creepy/disturbing though.

@Japanese Teeth. Actually those places aren't really that bad. I would give those places about the same level of sanity. Which in most cases is quite normal.

I am also convinced that due to her fourth wall powers, Pinkie is aware of her past selves. In fact I think she's aware of all her selves.

Looking at this chart I keep wondering, what happened to all those G1 ponies in later incarnations of the franchise? And did all the ponies listed in the G3 ponies column originate in G3? Or where some around before that? Is this the first time Rarity appears in the franchise? And why do I feel the need to vomit everytime I watch that scene?

My head canon: When Derpy was a filly, she made her very first batch of muffins. Unfortunately, she couldn't read very well at the time. So, instead of poppy seeds, she used Poison Joke seeds. Her eyes have been derpy ever since.

Unless the shows have been in anachronistic order, and she's aware of all her future selves. Betcha didn't think of that. Because its stupid.

Ok, I've made one of my own. Pinky is The Doctor's daughter from that tenth doctor episode where they make a female clone of him. Something goes wrong with it so that she regenerates into differnt Species. And she has a mini-TARDIS hidden in her mane, which is why she seems to teleport.

I believe all the Main Six's names originated in G3 except for Applejack and Twilight Sparkle; while there have been several other Twilights and a few Princess Sparkles, Twilight Sparkle's name appears to be brand-new for combining those words. A few other G1 names stuck around, though: Minty and Cotton Candy from the first year of G3 are a reference to Minty and Cotton Candy from the first year of G1, for example. Cupcake is now famous for having been in all four generations (if you don't count G3.5 as being entirely its own thing).

And yeah, I think "The Runaway Rainbow" was Rarity's animated debut, and then she also appeared in "Greetings From Unicornia", "Come Back, Lily Lightly", the live stage show... a lot of stuff.

And I bet Cupcake has a little bit of Rainbow Dash in her.

Heh... Well, you probably guessed that G4 Rarity doesn't have much in common with G3 Rarity besides being a unicorn, just as G4 Fluttershy doesn't have much in common with G3 Fluttershy besides the butterfly cutie mark. I think they just picked those names again because they sounded fitting enough for the new characters.

I cant help but get excited every time Doctor Whooves is in an episode. I really should start Watching Doctor Who again. I havn't had BBC on much recently.

I don't know. Only three or four of the examples are really episode-specific anyway. It's kinda unnecessary.

My headcanon is that Spike doesn't have biological parents. His egg was created magically by Celestia as a test for Twilight. She sensed potential in her.
