What's depressing me about the "headcanon" thing is that we're all just kind of tossing ideas into an empty void, knowing the others are just kind of blithely passing over it on their way to the "make new post" button.

I vote we change this and actually discuss headcanon.

My headcanon is that Spike doesn't have biological parents. His egg was created magically by Celestia as a test for Twilight. She sensed potential in her.

But... Celestia didn't discover Twilight's potential until the Rainboom went off, but Twi already had the egg.

I suppose Celestia could have created the egg herself... if she was in a chicken suit.

DISCUSSION AND QUESTION!

How exactly would the Griffons name themselves anyways? Going by Gilda I would assume the names of the Griffons would Italians, thus the Griffon society must be comprised of multiple city-states competing with each other for the throne and to make a new roman empire. If comparisons to reality are to go by.

Hey guys. Remember a few days ago that I got a friend of mine who I got into MLP and then a few days later he got a few of his friends in? Here's an update of what he's done:

He bronified one of his friends and the exchange he told me was rather unique. "Ok, we'll play Call of Duty, but first you have to watch a few episodes of My Little Pony." "Ok, fine." After a few episodes. "Ok, ready for Call of Duty?" "Um, can we watch more pony?"

He also got his parents to watch. He said his mom is into the show. His dad? Well, from what I know about my friend's dad, he's a guy that isn't afraid to speak his mind. So what was his reaction? "Meh. It's fine, but I don't really care for it."

Don't make me fire Pinky's party cannon.

How many pony-themed video games are there out there?

There's also a partially finished Portal/MLP game I made for the Game Boy Advance last summer. It currently has 4 levels. I can send you the ROM if want to try it out.
