What did we agree the subtypes of seaponies were? I remember Narwhals, Hippocampus and I pushed for squidish variants but I don't think anyone else liked those.

Also anyone read Texts From Ponyville?

I'm one of the few people who actually kinda likes the old sea pony song

I certainly don't wanna see it done in that style again... but I WILL be dissapointed if I don't hear at least one "SHOO-BE-DOO"

Is there any way that catch phrase could be included tastefully?

Yes that's right...Narwhals, Hippocampus, and Octoponies. That last one was controversal.

IIRC, Hippos were the Earthies of the sea, who worked the seabed, making corrals and growing crops of seaweed.

Also, sea ponies were needed to shoal fish...leading to the image of a SP with a crook herding tuna, with a dolphin assisting.

That's...right. Yep, craftsponies. They could be the corralsmiths.

Oh, that's right, I had Corralsmith as a SP name.

Also, I pushed for one SP (can't remember what species) to have the thunder strike of a pistol shrimp (wikipedia it) as their special talent. But, thanks to their increased size...they aren't a .22 cal pistol...they're a freakin RPG! who demolishes rocks to clear the seabed.

Edit: I guess Trottingham knocked all the British Aquatis ideas on the head eh?

Also, how about the name 'Aquatis'?

Aquatis sounds okay. It's certainly better than Ponylantis or whatever.

What I pictured them doing is flexing and rubbing their hoofs, building up energy, then they smack their hoofs together, which creates a underwater blast that shoots forwards like a torpedo, breaking rocks to bits, and sending sharks and other predators flying.

I think it was a Hippocampus...but yeah, they were a living artillery gun.
