... Speaking of MLP music, does anyone but me prefer the Season 1 version of the opening theme to the season 2 version? It's not a bad song either way, but I feel like the season 2 version tries too hard.

Who even made the music for that song? Everything else about their performance was awful, yet they were somehow able to produce an awesome instrumental?

I don't know, I kinda like the over the top-ness of Season 2's intro I'm always making massive hand gestures whenever it plays

That is an excellent question. I guess Scootaloo could have written it through a combination of Sweetie helping and cribbing from other songs, but they must know some good musicians. Who they didn't like enough to let on stage with them.

As fro the second season's theme, it's not bad, but the first seemed more natural, so I prefer it.

Discord apperently can't Tempt the weak willed, which is actually a very interesting reversal of typical mind control tropes.

And in terms of Dantes's inane question about RD asking us out, I wouldn't accept it because I know it would be a trick.

I mean let's ignore the fact I'm paranoid to potential bullying in general, I am far enough removed from any of her preferences that the only reason she would talk to me would be to find some way to make fun of me and my particular weaknesses. A proper gentleman is a perfect target for her, especially a neurotic one. My response would be a preemptive "what the hell are you up to? You think I was born yesterday?" and promptly wait for Twilight.

Furthermore, I am far too eloquent, snarky, inquisitive, fat, and lazy to be her "pet" if I even wanted to be it.
