Besides ponies, the animals that aren't in the wildest parts of the world seem to be total pussies that need to be fed and waken from hibernation. It seems like they might have evolved alongside ponies to be incredibly reliant on symbiosis.

What makes this show so good to you guys?

I’ve only watched the first two eps and skimmed the third because it looked rather cliché to me.

I’d imagine it appeals to many people on the strength of the characters as each one is pretty unique and obviously had a lot of thought put into their personality.

Not to mention stuff like an effeminate river serpent are amusingly quirky.

To be honest, I think I get more entertainment from all the stuff on the internet that’s been inspired from this show than the show itself, but it’s certainly not a bad show from what I”ve seen.
