YES, and Brain rhymes with Grain. But if I have too much Grain then my ankle Sprains and then I'm in Pain. So I'll pass on the Grains as I had a Big Breakfast.

Oh-kay...
Ruining everything forever.
Anyone else a fan of Big Mackintosh?
A pony of few words.. But somehow adorable for it.

Mac is pretty cool. Still prefer Applejack over him, though.
It's the hat!

Well, obviously. (also the fact tha she's y'know, a main character)
But I think Mac plays wonderfully of his sisters.

Looking back over the series so far, I've noticed that this show is an interesting case of
not passing
The Bechdel Test. The one time the girls talk about a male is when Rarity talks about Celestia's nephew but even then neither Pinkie Pie nor Twilight Sparkle have any idea who he is, nor do they show any further interest in the subject.

And how is that not passing a test?
^^I'm pretty sure that's passing. Unless you mean the reverse test.
Two female ponies in one scene and a guy is discussed. Sure it's just one episode but you know how picky people can get.

The criteria is one conversation, not all conversations. And since it still scores most conversations, I'd call it a pass.
"Adventure" is just a fancy word for "near-death experience".
(I have an avatar now. Happy?)
The test is not about not having any conversations about boys. It is about such conversations not dominating the characters communication.
Honestly, with SJ's fixation on this, you'd expect him to get it right.
That sounded meaner than I anticipated, but the point stands.
Ruining everything forever.
I think a series is more likely to pass the test anyway. Especially if it's a girl-centred one.
Wait a minute. Does this series pass the test when males are substituted? The only conversation between two males that I can recall was with Snips and Snails, and they were fixated on THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE.

Does the waiter taking Spike's order in The Ticket Master count?
But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...
No, no, the modified (inverted?) rule still needs two male characters talking to each other (about something other than a girl).
But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...
Kinda hard to tell, there aren't any instances of two males talking to each other that I can remember.
The page says it requires a conversation. I don;t think a lunch order is normally considered a conversation.
Ruining everything forever.
But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...

Woah, did Twilight get possessive by an Insano there?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great
