Twilight's toothy grins in that video reminded me of one of my beefs with Western animation. Yes, I'm well aware that Asian animation does it to an even more ridiculous degree but it's always seemed off since the WB/Walt. D. era.

However, as an Earth pony, he has a handsome male voice while as a pegasus, he has a youthful boy voice, which leads to speculation that they could be different ponies entirely. (Or possibly just different regenerations.)

"Different regenerations", being a Parental Bonus by itself, also brings the prospect that something managed to kill him.
