@Crimson I've heard along the lines that people hate Sombra just for the fact that he's a bland and uninteresting villain and seeing as I haven't reached season three yet and I'm only about 6 episodes from Canterlot Wedding which is pretty much the prelude to season 3 I can't really say that he's a bad villain but he's not really going to be on the same scale of evilness as people like Frollo, Darksied, Ganondorf, The Joker, Venom or even Magneto. Ya know? It's just not really fair to judge him compared to villains like them which is kind of stupid that way, oh and I'm on Putting your Hoof Down by the way seeing as I have finished watching Friend in Deed.

   There's no such thing as enough stairs. Stairs for the stair god!   

It's more the fact that the other villains had more well-defined personalities and motivations, whereas Sombra comes across more as For the Evulz an to figure out what his personality is like you really have to analyze the episode. I do think he's an interesting villain, but he wasn't utilized very effectively.

   Also, Starscream? When you get to my episode, just... In my defense, I was really, really groggy when all that happened. Being imprisoned in ice and shadow for a thousand years really takes a lot out of you.

The weird thing is that even the nonmagical stairs in the crystal palace were abnormally long. I remember there's one point where Twilight gallops down the same staircase for like a minute.

To be fair, it's not like they had any other option for the architecture. No elevators 1000 years before the ostensible medieval-renaissance-revolution.
