Wait, they took a 66 minute movie, cut massive parts out of it, and aired it in a 90 minute slot? Just how many commericals did they have?

Welll, you figure it's around 70 minutes, leaving 20 minutes of advertizement time. Considering most networks cut to breaks every fifteen minutes with a 4 minute gap for each, that averages 90 minutes leaving 4 to 5 commercial slots.

Equestria Girls, the blunder to The Hub's more growing time in showing commercials for Transformers Prime and MLP FIM. And growing as in The Hub's words: "Please watch our commericals we all can do is just show you commericals it's our life!"

I'm tempted to start watching the franchise, though I have no idea where to start. As I understand it, g1 and Animated ended on cliffhangers. Going by the wiki Beast Wars and Machines seem to be the most highly liked versions along with Prime.

I've seen some movies (not on The Hub) where everything is reasonable for a while, but then they start taking three-minute commercial breaks every six minutes. You just start thinking, "Do I really want to see the end of the movie this much?"

Ummm, Beast machines is a a MASSIVE base breaker. really very few like it, and even those that do admit it has some sever issues.

Beast Wars though, oh hell yes, the show is freaking AWESOME, and it contains what is STILL considered the single greatest moment in ANY transformers show.

Quite frankly I've only seen the pilot episodes of Transformers Prime and I have NEVER gone back to that show ever since. Seriously "The Blood of Unicron", "Undead army"? You sure it's a Transformers show and not a freaking Resident Evil game? Apparently the show gets better but meh I'm not really fussed with Prime to be honest.

@Starscream: Trust me, it does get better over time. The whole Zombie thing isn't brought up as often as it was in the first 5 episodes {Though it does show up every now and then}. Also, the TF Prime versions of Soundwave, Shockwave {Though he doesn't show up for a very long time} and arguably Starscream are pretty awesome despite the last one being played for laughs at times.

But overall I would say that Beast Wars is my favorite Transformers series. It was both funny and epic {Season 2 especially, which has possibly my favorite episode in the entire Transformers franchise}, the characters were great, voice actors were fantastic, and there's other great things I could say about it, but then I would just gush endlessly.

Yeah Season 2 was the best, especially Way of the Warrior. Best episode in the entire franchise, hands down.

OK, so watch that one. Any others?

Well G1 is just classic. But yeah Beast Wars is far and away the best Transformer series.

My twilie was quite well received. Very proud of that.

That was pre-princess though. Post-princess twilie will probably be different looking (taller, more physically imposing etc).

@Applelight: You know, there seems to be this prevailing theme that as long as your not drawing RD or AJ your art seems to be received just fine. AJ in particular seems to be your bane.
