So I see that the Hub has allotted two 90-minute slots to air the movie twice, back-to-back. They should be able to fit the entire movie into a 90-minute slot, even with commercials. The only reason to cut crucial scenes would be to air more commercials. Good ol' corporate greed.

Do they do double airings of just Pony, or do they do this with any other show? It just seems weird because I was expecting that considering it was first run, there would be no edits or cuts.

That said it was kinda nice to watch some pony again, I like Keep Calm and Flutter on still, though part of me wishes there was something in the episode to make you feel like Discord really was getting Fluttershy, rather than it just being a sudden thing where he's like "oh yeah I guess it would suck if this person rejected me..."

Really, why bother? The video's up on Youtube and all you're missing is a few minigames and a trippy advertizement.

DVD is already out and it's the full thing. this was a very badly done TV edit for no damn reason.

@Jelly: That's actually quite a bit. I'm really surprised that they didn't get at least another half hour for that. I mean the movie is only 66 minutes long. If they want to show it twice in 90 minutes with commercials they would have to cut at least a third of it.

Well, that's... I have no idea why they would do that, especially after everybody thought that those bits were the parts worth watching. Oh well.

@ Mio: They aired it once in a 90-minute slot, then immediately aired it again in another 90-minute slot. No reason to cut anything.
