Ahem! Moving on from that and seeing as nobody pay attention to my question, I'll ask again: Do you lot think there are equavialents of comic books in Esquerita or is it just books? Orion mentioned that they have an equavialent to Disney movies so I'm wondering if that's the same case with comic books.

Also about Bat Ponies it's only two tweets from Faust so I don't think we should panic over them just yet she could've easily been joking about them but then again we can't really say for sure on that one.

Books seem to be a large portion of entertainment given how popular Daring Do seems to be in universe. Given the pilot, we can deduce that picture books and comics exist, but are manely used for teaching foals and the market hasn't caught up with older fillies and colts.

Given that they have novels and movies, I think it's safe to say they probably have comic books too.

In other news, I totally can't wait for tomorrow night. BronyCAN's gonna be a lot lower key (expected turnout will be less than 1000) than BronyCon (~8400), but that should help make things more manageable. Especially since I'm going for a few autographs (Tabitha, Rebecca, Claire; maybe Vincent too if I can find a good Flash Sentry print in the vendor hall, I guess). Busting out the Twisuit again too.

And we have Lauren's official take on Bat ponies. They are a separate race of ponies, who live mostly underground in deep caves, and Luna simply prefers to use them as guards over regular ponies.

In the opening. He rushes in to the throne room, his eyes are blue. He takes off his helmet and looks up at Celestia, and his eyes are now brown.

But since Lauren's no longer working on the show, that needs to be taken with a grain of salt. And even when she was, she stated she doesn't like to set things in stone until it appears on the show proper, as it allows more flexibility when writing new episodes.
