Great, how did this one begin?

It's a joke referring to the fact that none of the pegasi have been seen with parents in the present. In fact, prior to Games Ponies Play, none of them had been seen with parents at all.

Edit: Ok technically Pound Cake has parents too, but that doesn't really count.

@Mio: Well, it might have been unintentional, but her whole entrance was definitely designed to evoke Nightmare Night imagery, and she spends most of the episode being terrifying, so the end result is the same.

Also, not the "all pegasi are orphans" thing again. The only reason we haven't seen RD or Fluttershy's parents is because they probably live in Cloudsdale, and only like two episodes take place there.

When I hear Cloudsdale, or really, any fictional town/city that ends with -dale, I keep thinking Dimsdale.

I wonder who saves the day there. I am forced to assume that it's Rainbow Dad. I bet he's either a superhero, law enforcement officer, something badass.

Also one month left of this job. When I'm done I've so much to catch up on. It's weird. I have six character concepts, but putting designs to them all is proving tricky if you can believe that. How they look is just as important as how they act imo.

I bet RD and her dad are super close.
