Lopiny.

And I think Nyarly's from Germany or somewhere in the vicinity, though I could be mistaken.

You mean online game. Plus, I still don't think Hasbro needs to be a little bitch about the fact it had it's characters in a fangame that isn't there's. I doubt it would be that violent.

Kix: Protecting their trademarks is hardly being a little bitch. Especially when said fangame was being pushed into a professional video game arena.

Puh. You kids and your online games. Why, when *I* was a kid, the Atari 2600 was state-of-the-art.

I played variations of Pong.

Beat that.
I'll concur that Sereg is awesome, but what does his dislike of Life & Times have to do with it? - Midnight Rambler

[up]x4 Please, tell me more about your old crap that sucks and not even button can play it.

[up]x5 If Nick can put their famous characters in a fighter, then what's to stop Hasbro from doing the same IF they want to?

but now there's a table-and-scrolls silhouette left in some of Twilight's books where the other background had covered 'em

Wow, that's one of the laziest photoshops I've ever seen.

I played the Atari Video Computer System 2600 cartridge "Video Olympics", which contained the Pong game. I remember the warning not to leave any "Video Olympics" game on too long, or else the image would burn into your picture tube.

Back in my day, if we wanted to play Pong, we had to invent the computer.

@Sereg: I've also played pong, at least seen videos of Tennis for Two(Given that, you know, oscilloscope that's about as close as I'm liable to get to playing), and have also played...

Civ 1, gradius and Galaxian, Doom, Zork, Rogue... I could probably keep going but I'll just cut to the chase and I say I took a university course on Video Game History, and have therefore played, for at least a while, most of the prolific games of the major genres.

@ Kix: Hey, don't knock the games I grew up with. Most of them were played with a crappy Atari joystick that kept breaking. I went through at least three of them. Some (such as "Breakout") used a "paddle" controller, with a knob you turned. A few used a "keypad" controller with the numbers 0-9, but I remember those games sucking. "Basic Math"? How fun! Yippee!
