We've decided that Fluttershy is a year older than Pinkie Pie.

And that's all we're ever gonna decide due to Vague Age until the show provides more.

She doesn't induce strong feelings in me besides a dislike for how she runs. I don't really care about Trixie. I don't even strongly dislike her besides wanting to Dope Slap her. She's like a fly.

I would care if Rarity lost her home or if Rainbow Dash did and I don't even like them.

I think that's the general consensus (or at least you and I think the same).

I think its best we try not to think too hard about the ages of background ponies.

My guess for ages is, from youngest to oldest, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy.

I always put Fluttershy as oldest, because she looks like a teen at the same time the others are little fillies.

re: Youngest and oldest ponies.

Pinkie, Twilight, Dash, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy.

That's my best guess. Honestly I would've put Fluttershy as younger than Rarity if not for Cutie Mark Chronicles (though, Fluttershy could've always been born a mutant and normalized as she got older).

However, I'm thinking the age difference probably amounts to "a few months or so, " with only Pinkie and Fluttershy really having a full-year gap.
