Dial-up on my Desktop computer. The wi-fi for the Wii is totally different! It's like a signal that just came from nowhere and I find it rarely. Pretty much, i live in a dead spot.[lol]

If you make a fanfiction whit a OC as the protagonist and in the end turns out is a fanfic of another OC then your OC have a OC!

No, in order for your OC to have an OC, you would need your OC to be a fanfic writer themselves.

Ouch Kix.

Anyways, my mother found out I liked this very show... the masquerade had been found out. As for good news and bad news bits, I could draw a couple bits.

1: I didn't disappoint her at all, nor did I get punished for it.

2: I couldn't have any merchandise, at risk of being labeled a brony by her. (I wound up saying a friend shown me the show.)
It's a Demonic Lighthouse Slide! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I beg of you, Durza, make it so.

Eh, my family doesn't much care. They think it's a little odd and don't quite get why, but my brother at least supports it if it makes me happy.

My stepdad knew about the fandom beforehand (yay comics shop carrying pony stuff), my mom was all surprised because she thinks the show's stupid.

Evening everypony. What's going on?
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.

Admittedly, if you've never watched the show yet, it's easy to dismiss it as just another one of those stupid pony shows. The previous gens don't exactly give it a stellar track record.

Why is it that whenever I post something here, it almost always gets either ignored outright or derailed in favour of something that has almost nothing to do with what I posted?

She's seen the show. Was a stay-at-home mom for a few years and would put Hub on for the kids.

@Orion: At this point, I think we're discussing how our pony masquerades are holding, and needless to say, today happened to be the day I slipped up and crit-failed on uphold masquerade. -goes to brush Orion's mane-

@Santos: My apologies about the accidental derail. I think you might be one of the only people I know with that situation. -goes to comb Santos' hair-

True. I wonder if MLP would have had a better reputation if G3 hadn't came out.

Sure before then it had girly moments, but the previous series were a fantasy adventure and early American slice of life cartoon, nothing horribly tooth-rotting. It could be that G3 was a case of Never Live It Down for the franchise.

edit: And yay, the combs are back.

For me there was no masquerade, I just didn't flaunt it outside of blasting pony music and having pony computer backgrounds. :P

I got my stepdad to buy me several issues of the comic and that's how they found out :P

My family knows about it, but I haven't been able to get any of them interested in the show.

In other news, I just started trying to write my Octlestia chapter again and I think I'm close to finishing. I hope you don't mind Dark.

I occasionally try to explain to my parents and friends about the human world watching us, though I do this as a hypothetical question. I doubt anypony would take me seriously if I told them outright.

My parents know about it and have watched episodes with me before and we all went to the Equestria Girls movie together. Then again, me being a fan of My Little Pony is nothing new, since I've been a fan since I was at least 4 years old, and my parents aren't the type to judge people for their hobbies/favorite shows anyway. I've told them about the brony phenomenon as well, and they've met (or at least seen) some of the male fans of the show when we met some at the anime convention that I go to every year in May. I've even explained to them about fan favorites like Derpy and about how some of the background ponies that fans like have been made into dolls.

Rule 1 of internet fora: Sometimes, your post will be overlooked. It happens to all of us. Don't sweat it.

(Actually, rule 1 should be "Don't be a dick", but the above should be on the list somewhere.)
