I don't mind. I was waiting until you'd finished before I'll start mine. I knew you were working on it so I didn't want override yours.

Thanks. Sorry for taking so long.

Hey, how do you guys get screenshots for the tumblr? I thought of a good picture from the show for a quote on the list, but I have no clue how to go about making the image for it.

Sorry, all, I was busy today. Forming a band with a couple of friends. While one of our friends was unable to show, we still had fun and recorded something. Anybody want to hear it? I can post the link if you guys want.

As far as MLP goes, at first, I really wasn't into it and am still kind of "What?" when I hear some of the names-places. When I started Reading Fallout Equestria, though, I took it on faith from Dark Abomination and sucked it up and read. I was mainly in the story for the plot, but was kind of curious of the story behind it. I've watched up to the winter wrap up episode completely and... it's interesting. The music is done very well, I like it. The thing I find funny is that so many people hate the show, but replace ponies with humans with magic powers and you've kind of got a less violent version of power puff girls or something like that. The episodes are interesting, I have to keep reminding myself that it is a kids show and not to take it too seriously and I"m pretty much able to go through. I find some of it amusing, like being able to put voices to the names in FOE finally and pondering what they would actually do. The Vinyl Scratch T Apes, both the audiobook and the fanfic are pretty good, I really loved the sense of humor in those.

That depends, is it a cute quintet of boyish sound?

@Blind Bard: Glad to hear you're enjoying it. The 'May as well be Powerpuff Girls' angle is an interesting one.

I hear ya. Some of my favorite musicians are in the habit of wildly changing their genre every other album or so.
And, since today is apparently National Jump To Conclusions Day...

For me, one-genre bands are getting boring for me unless they can do it well. It's not uncommon for my stuff to have a mash of psychobilly, bubblegum pop, operatic vocals, and punk. Heck, one of my favorite bands is Afro Celt Soundsystem.

I dunno, I find myself listening to more video game music these days, which covers a lot of genres, so I'm not lacking for variety (And that's just the Sonic series).

Music music...I like rock (Mostly alternative or indie stuff), some electronic music (The Wipeout games are great in that regard), and certain types of Jazz. I'll listen to anything that sounds good mostly, I don't really have favourites these days.

I mostly listen to VG music too. But I don't even know what genres mean half the time.

Yeah, considering how musicians take influences from pretty much everywhere, it's getting harder to nail down genres. I'd love a groovy Jazz number on the show, though.

I mostly get my VG music from games I've already played. The only exception being Legend of Mana, where it was the OST that got me curious to try out the game.
Try to see it my way
