I can kinda see Fluttershy or AJ using a Green/White deck - summon lots of cheap monsters, buff the fuck out of them.

Flutters might also use a healing deck. Win by war of attrition.

Also, not sure whether the start date is pimp or Waaaaaugh, why so long!?

Gothic Pinkie?

I can imagine AJ going red, actually. In a way, it's the most straightforward way to win the game. You win by taking your opponent's life to zero, so just cut out the middlemare and deal damage directly at their head.

IT's admittedly a practical option. I got a Red started deck from a professor once(He had just gotten back from Comic-con and was giving away free swag), and it seems to be built for having monsters to take hits while you chuck lava axes at your oponnant.

For this Saturday it's New Fluttershy and a Time Paradox.

There's a wave of toys called Pinkie Pie's Fashion Boutique, lots of Pink & Black, Pinkie's going through a Hot Topic phase apparently.

It wasn't a paradox so much as a Stable Time Loop. But yeah.

It is a causality paradox, though. The loop needs to start somewhere, but where?

@Badwolf, I don't think that the crystal beasts would fit Rainbow Dash.

@ Morning Star: People in Yugioh have decks based on their names all the time. Few other decks would allow her to use the whole rainbow thing.

Eh. I prefer Magic: The Gathering as far as CCGs go since the strategy is more developed than spamming monsters unless you're a Goblins or Affinity (aggro) or Tooth and Nail player (and even as a Tooth player I can honestly say it takes real skill not to get walled out by Obliterate control, left stranded by Land Destruction, or overrun by Affinity). Few card games let you win by summoning a mad scientist and milling your own library to nothingness, or by foisting your Delusions of Grandeur off on the other guy and destroying it. Also, you can actually win games with "peasant" decks with cheap cards by using actually effective synergies to create strange situations and soft locks the other guy may not be prepared for.

So it starts in November? Makes sense that it'd start earlier than season 3 since it's twice as long. But that's a lot later then season 2. Maybe they're just having less gaps.

I prefer Yugioh since Magic still hasn't had a game that puts all the cards in and lets you just make a deck rather than relying on preset ones.

@decks based on name: That seems odd to me. I don't remember seeing that occur witht he protagonists.
