Yu Gi Oh is better for Trixie because she can Screw the rules, she has a big hat!
She'd probably play it with Sunset Shimmer. Less regulations, more fun for them both. Twilight and Rarity seem like the types to enjoy a shit-ton of rule manipulation.

I think the Mane 6 6 might use the following:
- Twilight Sparkle: Prophecy or Lightsworn (Including the Twilight version)
- Rainbow Dash: Gusto
- Rarity: Gem-Knights
- Pinkie Pie: Maldoche. of Random mishmash of cards.
- Applejack: Well one guy on Fim Fic think she would use Koa'ki Meiru. I think a plant deck might suit her.
- Fluttershy: Beast deck.
