On the subject of Princess Twilight, I've mentioned this before but I think it'd be really cool if her throne was in Ponyville, and she used her influence and budget to expand the library and set up schools and research labs. Turn Ponyville into the science capital of Equestria.

I think Twilight might actually make a decent ruler, if she's got good help. Advisers and ministers, and the like, who know certain fields better than her. I mean, the better part of leadership is delegation, so if they give her something small at first I'm sure she can keep it running.

Not that they probably will, aside from like... some practice runs maybe.

Heh, there's an episode plot idea: Mayor Mar keeps trying to defer to Twilight since she's a princess, and Twilight is trying to dodge around it since she doesn't want to take over.
