Why is Snips/Twist such a popular pairing?

I hope Snails (and Snips) isn't a complete dumbass in his next appearance(s), but I'm not holding my breath.

Snips and Snails are the two background dumbasses that soemtimes get lines, and Spike is the short fat one.

Face it, the show is unkind to the male gender.

What about Big Mac?

At least, both characters are by appearance what you'd call stereotypically nerdy. If I'm not mistaken.

Big Mac is an exception. He is mightier than Chuck Norris.

Though Hoity Toity isn't exactly a negative portrayal, and neither are Silverstar and the Buffalo Chief.

Blueblood is a capital D Douche.

We know nothing else of Soaring except he is always hungry as a horse.

... Well, guess theres not much else to go with in canon.

They've barely appeared throughout the show, I hardly think there's enough characterization to judge them.

Clockpunk OC pony (from a few pages ago) was a pretty sweet idea.

I just want to see Iron Mare myself, using thaumic engineering to funnel magic in place of normal electricity. False "wings" in the suit conceal powerful thrusters that let her boost around fast enough to challenge Rainbow Dash.

Or maybe one day a bunch of horses from other fictions land in Equestria.

As for our new Discord-parasprite-cultist, maybe a mod can banish him to the moooooooon or at least THUMP their posts if they go too far.

Yeah, like that cute picture of them in their teens being cute, and Snails looks less silly.

Oh, and to be fair, most (or at least plenty) of what I've seen of Snails/Twist is of the two having already aged up a little, so they're of a more appropriate age for romance.

I'm sorry, the board was just slower than ever when I was trying to put the video up, and I just wanted to get it pumping up.

I'm sorry I'm annoying, I'm just trying to be an embodiment of chaos, but I'm doing it to annoyingly.

Also, if they drop in a Phoenix Wright referance, I'll be happy. Namely the "Objection!" shout and desk bang. Finger pointing would lose it's impact with the lack of fingers.

Sisterhooves Social made me think of something. What if Rarity and Applejack switched sister for a day or at least a few hours? We kind of saw that already but what would happen if Apple Bloom was staying at Rarity's boutique? Come to think of it, that was the one thing she didn't try during Call of the Cutie, maybe it's a hint that designing and handicrafts ARE her special talent because it's the one thing she hasn't tried yet? She has at least been hinted to be good at that in the show already, at least with that one treehouse.
