I remember joking about that once, but yeah it seems like most of the horse-related pun names come from the fandom ("Derpy Hooves") rather than canon.

I can't think of one single canon pony who has a horse-related name.

Even if pony character is parody of some celebrity they have normal pony name , no pun name - Photo Finish for example.

Fans give pun names to character.

@Kyler Thatch Why normal Parasprites ?? Better reprogram them to eat something else, non food or other creatures.

I wonder what's their limit, can they eat some power full , magical creature or Cosmic Horror?

That can be war crime if Parasprites are programed to eat civilians.

Because PP wasn't standing in one place all time, and when they started eat non food Pinkie had most of instument any way, and in the end not everything was eated by them.
