But... I do do that. Just I tend to do it with characters I like.

Not much point fixing a character like Discord... even if I could, he's a completely unnecessary addition to the cast. Show doesn't need villains.

The joke's on everyone, Hitlestia is the only real villain/overlord the show ever had, she is very totalitarian and conservative and hates anything fun, open-minded or cool, and she wanted to rule so bad she and her sister turned the current, good leader to stone for being ugly to them, and being so nice, then she made sure her day was the time of day ponies stayed up so her sister would be upset so she could banish her too. And don't get me started on all her little tricks she plays on Twilight...
