Well, just because someone is stoic doesn't mean they can't love. If a changeling feeds on love, they can probably sense it even if it isn't outright shown.

Sounds rather cliche, but I'm sure the show writers can spin it into something worth watching, regardless.

I don't know, the girls are all different enough that I can't really see them fighting over the same guy. They probably all have different tastes in stallions (or mares).
