They get an even more awesome onii-san Big Mac, so they win this round :V
I think it's less a matter of accent and more that AJ's English voice was a bit heavier. Japanese AJ sounds a bit too high-pitched. RD actually got pitched down a little, and I think it works.
AJ didn't refer herself as "imouto" in this episode, did she?
Here's what's going on in AJ's mind:
Moths = Butterflies
Butterflies = Caterpillars
Caterpillars = Earthworms
Oh, no! They've all transformed into giant, Swedish, lederhosen-clad yodelers! Run!
@Syd: Ah, so it was a double mishear. That's even funnier for some reason.
Okay, I love Twi trotting into town humming the My Little Pony theme.
Wait, really?
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
So I heard something about an official start date for Season 4, is that true? It seems way to early for them to announce such a thing.
@ Blue: I've heard nothing besides "winter."
It doesn't sound like they gave Applejack a Kansai dialect, I don't think.
Son, can you play me a memory?
I'm not really sure how it goes...
@Kyler: They didn't, and that kind of disappoints me. My best guess is that they wanted to keep all of them understandable for the target audience across the country... or something. Even though Dashie uses slang and such.
I'm 8ad, and that's good. I will never 8e good, and that's not 8ad. 8ecause there's no one I'd rather 8e... than me.
@story: Yeah, right after the bunny stampede. I went back and checked the original version because I couldn't remember if she did it there too, but in the English version she was humming some generic tune.
