Wouldn't diamond dogs be canines or something of the sort, and thus (normally) genetically incompatible with ponies? Any such pairing would be infertile.

Orion: I can't say for sure, but best I can tell there isn't any non-pony heritage in your family tree going back a few generations. It's entirely possible that there's something further back than that. That would be a lot of stuff to go through.
