@Roy: Oh you and your craziness.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
I doubt Hasbro wants to share brony gold with Disney :V
@Orion - Some of your earliest patriarchs have turned out to be one of immigrant sub-species of Diamond Dogs. Both of your grandparents have some DD blood in them as well.
I found this hard to believe; despite all that I have yet to find any descenden with canine attributes, at least in outer appearance. I consulted few experts how this is possible, but apparently Diamond Dogginess is recessive, just like dragonness. I have a feeling that maybe my consultants are less than reliable.
That's one thing that Derpy and the bronies have in common: they were not supposed to exist. -crimsonstorm15
Nah. I got some genome samples taken discreetly, no species overlap there. My augtool's diagnostics are pretty damn accurate, so I know for sure your contacts are absolutely wrong.
Frankly, I'd rather Disney learn by example, stop producing generic shit, and not have an opportunity to run FIM into the ground themselves in the meantime.
Oh, no! They've all transformed into giant, Swedish, lederhosen-clad yodelers! Run!
Bloody hell, things have really moved on animation wise since season 1 haven't they?
Tealove is best pony.
Ask The Mane Six
@Roy: Again, you're crazy.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
Don't sweat it Orion... there's always a couple someponies who'd go into wild territories. -shrugs, hiding a bucket behind himself labeled "Loose Feathers"-
It's a Demonic Lighthouse Slide! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I beg of you, Durza, make it so.
-Azreal
@Ace - I would agree with that, but it turns out that previous sampling methods produced sample corruption in a high rate, so I can't really use those data for accurate analysis.
@Orion - Call me what you will, that is what your files say. Blame the Ministry of Health or Ministry of Census archive managers if you want to blame anyone.

@Orion: so what if you're part Diamond Dog? i'm 3/16 Manticore myself.
you're stronger than you think you are.
According to the latest data published by the Ministry of Census, at least 40% of all citizens in Equestria has some mixed blood in them, the most common being griffins,
curiously enough.

@Crimson: I'm not upset, I just highly doubt that Roy is telling the truth. Sure, we got pony to donkey relations, but that is the extent of interracial/species romance you are going to get. Last I check, no one goes after the diamond dogs.

I followed through correct investigation process. Whether you believe it or not does not influence the data.

If they had Gryphon genomes they would be Hippogriffs not ponies :P
Don't ask me, I didn't record them. God knows if genetics there work as ours.

Who said anything about sampling? I just accessed to MOS archives.

Nobody sampled anything. I just got the census records. It has nothing to do with genetics.

was it something other than steven's wonderful little tidbit?
Well that's what I was referring to, but I guess I've learned some other things today too. For instance, I learned that Scala has a disassembler called Scalap in analogy to Javap. I also learned that people can apparently go pretty far in math without realizing the importance of 2pi vs pi.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
I'm just popping in to say that either D Roy got a set of bogus census records, or he's just pulling these "facts" out of thin air. Given that I now have access to all the census files, I can confirm that his statistics are
way off.
The percentage of ponies with non-neglible degrees of non-pony heritage is in the 9-11% range. Also, while we're on the subject, as far as my (admittedly limited) knowledge of genetics goes, the only races that are genetically compatible with ponies (Besides other ponies, of course) are donkeys, mules, zebras, and griffons.
Everything is going to be fine!
