I don't see anythign wrong with being called a brony. Though I am annoyed when people try to use the term derogatorily.

Given that as far as I'm concerned the term basically means "a member of the show's Periphery Demographic" I don't find any problems with it. Although I can understand why some people wouldn't want to be referred to as one, since a lot of people associate it with the more obsessed members of the fanbase.

I thought I slept through our Saturday Synchtube Google Hangout re-watch, but it looks like we didn't have one?

I haven't bothered setting up my google+ account anyway.

So that marathon I told you about? It was partially bullshit. Instead of premiering 5 episodes in a row, we only got 3 new episodes. Instead of it being from One Bad Apple, Magic Duel, Sleepless in Ponyville, Wonderbolt Academy, Just For Sidekicks (as stated in the press release), we only ended up getting the first and last of those episodes as well as Games Ponies Play. The other hour was devoted to a rerun of the Crystal Empire (11:00-12:00). Don't you just love it when channels like to break their promises?

Woah, I've got some catching up to do.

I became aware of the show in early 2011, around when Suited for Success first aired. I caught it and was pleasantly surprised. I may not be a "brony" per se, as I just catch the show when it airs and I do like to catch up on the music and gaming sides of the fandom, and am interested in the fan animations, but that's it. I have many interests outside of the show, and from what I've seen, bronies are like all pony all the time.

Also, according to x86x2 logic, just because I like a popular band that some ban-dodger liked, I am automatically him/her? That's like saying that just because I can do an impression of somebody that I'm him or her.

Rarity being the new Nightmare Moon? Okay, back in summer of 2011 when I read this one guy's fanfics (Jetfire, I think?) I recall one where Rarity does become the new NMM, so hilarious in hindsight is in effect.

Quick question,

we had Windigos, which are/were evil winter spirits that fed off fighting and hatred. Can we assume that there are 'good' spirits too that do good things? Can anyone think of some real life mythological examples?

I'm inclined to believe in good spirits, but can't name any off the top of my head unfortunately.

I'll hopefully find one.
