It's a story about Pinkie, God, Jesus, the Royal Sisters, Satan, and a bunch of Lovecraftian horrors.
Celestia is Jesus' biological mother, Pinkie is a demon from the Furthest Ring, Satan is Celestia's ex, Jesus himself is a whiny emo who writes bad Real Person Fic, and God is a dick who enjoys sending hordes of rapists to people who annoy him.
I think I could submit this to the Vatican as a lost book of the Bible.

And yes, Look Before You Sleep. I didn't like it much the first time I watched because neither AJ nor Rarity had really grown on me by that point. Rewatching it after getting more familiar with the characters kicked it up a few notches. But yeah, it's not really the most highly regarded episode. I think it's underrated, but that's just me.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
