I hope Scoot gets more screen time next season. She's my favorite Crusader and I can relate to how she must feel being different through no fault of her own. Besides, I think it would make a good lesson if done with care. The show seems to assume that your friends will be capable and talented, but what if they can't meet such a high standard themselves? That, or Rainbow Dash is really going to have to be there for her. It's certainly sad, but I personally think it should be addressed. Since the show's brought it up, I'd really like an explanation as to why she can't, or might not ever be able to fly. Or at least hint at the answer like Applejack's parents.

@dark: Yeah, Faust intended for Scootaloo to be disabled and forever unable to fly, which I'm sure the showrunners could have handled well. (Did you see that tweet from Faust where she mentioned that she initially envisioned Scoots constantly getting into fights with her schoolmates over that issue?) Still, seeing as the official policy is "only the show is canon", there's still time for Scoots to learn to fly after all.

Either way could be done well or done poorly.

I don't want to be the guy who whines about ratings, but my recent Applejack picture is at like a -7 on derpibooru, and I have absolutely no idea why. I updated it slightly this morning, and got a mod to repost it, BTW.

This is the worst kind of discouragement, really. People seem to dislike some of my work, and I have no way of figuring out why because no one will tell me.

I looked at it, and... well, it's not my preferred art style, but I don't think it's bad.

So, I have no idea. *shrug*
