As somebody who's currently working on similar school things, I second this. It's much better to take a break and approach it fresh rather than try to force it and make yourself sick of it.

I think mad to try this whole webcomic. I tried drawing some background items and it's just hit me how much work will actually have to do done. One panel alone is a tone of work.

But no more talking about it. I read the new comic today about RD. It was pretty great. Lovely artwork and a great story with great dialogue. RD was in top form, and she has way more powers than we first thought. She really is a living weather machine and light box.

@Apple: It doesn't help that you started off with trying to tackle one of the toughest genres in terms of effort required. Doing an ongoing adventure strip involves much more work in regard to both artwork and writing than most other genres. You may want to consider starting it as a slice of life strip so you can go easier on the world-building and backstory and whatnot and focus on their current personalities and setting. Then if you ever feel up to making it an adventure you can start introducing those elements.
